The Sonata ECO exclusively boasts a seven-speed EcoShift Dual Clutch transmission with SHIFTRONIC, which delivers sporty handling.

Additionally, the Smart Cruise Control with stop/start capability in this Hyundai is similar to the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control in this Toyota. Both vehicles have a rear view camera, but the Hyundai Sonata offers better guidance for backing up thanks to the Rear Parking Sensors. When equipped with the Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), the Sonata surely offers better options as far autonomous overrides of mechanical controls in order to avoid accidents. This Hyundai sedan also boasts Automatic High Beam Assist, which significantly improves safety for nighttime driving. In the passive safety category, both cars have an energy-absorbing steering column and crumple zones in the front and rear.

Both sedans offer access to scores of music options via SiriusXM Satellite Radio and HD Radio. The nine-speaker Infinity sound system is surely suitable for playing such popular radio services in the Hyundai Sonata. Equipped with Android Auto technology, this Hyundai sedan makes it easy to access compatible Android devices on the road. Offering Siri Eyes Free for Apple devices, the Toyota Camry does not pair with Android users.
