Two Sedans That Have It All
Looks, power, technology, and safety—Hyundai sedans have it all. The 2021 Elantra SE base model comes fully equipped with a 2.0L engine that gives you 33 city/43 highway mpg, an 8-inch color touchscreen display with audio, wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®, and smart safety features including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist w/ Pedestrian Detection, and Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist.
The base model 2021 Sonata SE is equipped with a 2.5L GDI engine that gives you 28 city/38 highway mpg, an 8-inch color touchscreen display with audio, wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®, and intelligent driver alert features including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist w/ Pedestrian Detection, and Driver Attention Warning.
The Powerful, Efficient Elantra and Sonata
The Elantra offers four gas-powered trim levels and two hybrid models. The Sonata offers five models, including the all-new Sonata N Line—the racing-inspired sedan with a turbocharged engine. For capability, power, and fuel efficiency, you can’t go wrong with any of them.
For 2021, the Elantra gives you the option of a 2.0-liter 4- cylinder engine with 147-horsepower, a 1.6-liter turbo engine with 201 hp, or the new Elantra hybrid with a Smartstream 1.6-liter GDI 4-cylinder engine and a 32KW electric motor.
The 2021 Sonata has three options—the SE and SEL trims come with a 2.5-liter 191-horsepower GDI 4-cylinder engine, the SEL Plus and Limited have a 180-horsepower 1.6-liter Turbo GDI 4-cylinder engine, and the powerful N-Line comes with a 2.5-liter Turbo MPI/GDI 4- cylinder engine that puts out an impressive 290-horsepower.
Designed from a Whole New Angle
The Elantra has a flair for the dramatic, with sharply defined lines along the sides that flow into the cleanly contoured bumpers. The prominent bold front grille lets you know that it’s nothing like a boring old sedan. And, you don’t have to open your trunk the outdated way with the available hands-free smart trunk release.
The interior of the Elantra is just as bold with an available 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster and available high-resolution 10.25-inch touchscreen with navigation, both integrated into a single front panel keeping everything front and center in easy reach.
The 2021 Sonata takes a leap into the future, surrounding you with the essentials in a modern, clean look of sophistication and innovation. The available 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster is larger than both the Toyota Camry or Honda Accord, and seamlessly integrates with the available 10.25-inch high resolution touchscreen—also a Best-in-Class.
The N Line Sonata backs up its power with a powerful style that shows off its coupe-like silhouette and N design enhancements like the black mesh grille and large front fascia, 19-inch alloy wheels, and quad exhausts outlets.
Safety That Won’t Let You Down
Hyundai SmartSense features come on every Elantra and Sonata model. The base models Elantra SE and Sonata SE come with driver assistance systems including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist w/ Pedestrian Detection, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, Driver Attention Warning, High Beam Assist, and Safe Exit Warning.
Higher trims add Hyundai SmartSense advanced intelligent systems like Forward Collision-Avoidance w/ Pedestrian, Cyclist, and Junction-Turning Detection, Smart Cruise Control w/ Stop & Go, Parking Distance Warning-Reverse, Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist-Reverse, and Highway Drive Assist.
New Stay-Connected Technology
The 2021 Elantra takes a bold step forward with technology features that set new standards for the sedan category. Wireless device charging, Bose premium audio, and Bluelink® Connected Car Service are the earmarks of luxury. With Bluelink and a compatible smartphone you can lock/unlock your doors and start your car remotely. (Bluelink available for three years complimentary)
Not to be outdone, the Sonata now offers available Hyundai Digital Key, that turns your smartphone into a second key fob. You can use it to lock/unlock your doors, start your engine, and you can also share your Digital Key with another driver’s smartphone.
Remote Smart Parking Assist gives Sonata owners the life of luxury. Just push a button on your Smart Key and your Sonata can drive itself into a parking space or pull out of one too. The hard work is all done for you.
